"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" erscheint in Deutschland laut Angaben von Amazon.de voraussichtlich am 07.09.2017 auf Blu-ray Disc & Blu-ray 3D. Das erscheint unter Berücksichtigung des typischen 4 Monats-Fensters auch recht plausibel. Neben der Standard-Edition auf Blu-ray Disc ist auch ein limitiertes Blu-ray 3D-Steelbook geplant. Informationen zu einer Ultra HD Blu-ray-Veröffentlichung, die auch von Regisseur James Gunn gewünscht wird, liegen noch nicht vor.
