USA: Sony stellt Blu-ray Disc-Player & TVs mit Google TV vor
Sony hat in den USA den ersten Blu-ray Disc-Player und Fernseher mit integriertem Atom-Prozessor für Google TV vorgestellt, die in den USA bereits in den kommenden Tagen in den Verkauf kommen sollen. Den Blu-ray Disc-Player NSZ-GT1 gibt es für 399,99 USD, die LCD-Fernseher in Größen von 24 bis 46 Zoll zu Preisen von 599 USD bis 1399,99 USD. Mittels "Dual View" lassen sich die Internetdienste parallel zum Fernsehprogramm nutzen. Vorinstalliert sind Apps für CNBC, Napster, NBA, Netflix, Pandora, Twitter und YouTube. Anfang 2011 soll für "Google TV" ein eigener Android Market starten, über den Entwickler eigene Apps anbieten können. Die verschiedenen Funktionen stellt Sony unter www.sony.com/SonyInternetTV in Bild und Ton vor. Wann Sonys "Google TV"-Geräte auch ausserhalb der USA erhältlich sein sollen, ist derzeit noch offen.
