USA: Details zu "Spider-Man 2" auf DVD

Columbia hat in den USA die Extras für das 2 DVD-Set von "Spider-Man
2" bekannt gegeben, welches am 30. November als Code 1-DVD in den Handel
kommen soll. In Deutschland ist die DVD-Veröffentlichung von "Spider-Man
2" für den 2. Dezember geplant. In den USA wird es neben dem 2 DVD-Set
auch noch eine Sammler-Box mit weiteren Extras auf DVD geben. Für alle, denen
Klasse wichtiger ist als Masse, erscheint außerdem parallel direkt eine "SuperBit
Edition", zwar ohne Extras, dafür aber mit höherer Video-Bitrate und auch
DTS-Ton. Die Extras des 2 DVD-Sets von Spider-Man sehen folgendermaßen aus:

Regisseur Sam Raimi selbst hat schon vor dem Kinostart
angekündigt, dass mehrere Versionen von "Spider-Man 2" auf DVD in
Vorbereitung seien. So plant Reimi AUCH eine verlängerte Fassung
von "Spider-Man 2" auf DVD. Die Kinofassung wurde laut Raimi um rund fünf
Minuten gekürzt. Die längere Fassung des Films soll den Namen "Spider-Man
2.5" erhalten. Eine Veröffentlichung ist allerdings erst lange Zeit nach
der Veröffentlichung der regulären Kino-Fassung von "Spider-Man 2"
auf DVD geplant. Dass es hierbei auch ums Geld geht, weist Raimi gar nicht von
sich. Familienväter würden durch ihre Kinder durchaus unter Druck gesetzt
werden können, jede Fassung des Films zu kaufen, meinte Raimi - so ließen sich
noch weitere Dollars aus den Brieftaschen der Eltern ziehen.
